Hi All

We're sending out a plea to those of you who have already seen the light and signed up for the best volunteer job in town--Author Transportation for the Tucson Festival of Books!  We need your help to recruit some additional driver volunteers.

Right now there are about 50 of you signed up to drive.  Judging by the number of authors requesting your fine services this year, we're going to need closer to double that number.

If each one of you could come up with one additional person who might like to join our group, we'd be sitting pretty.

Please consider sending an email to a group of your friends OR calling one or two people who might consider signing up.   You can do one of two things:

Send your recruits directly to the website (http://www.tucsonfestivalofbooks.com/item/show/279691) where they can sign up for Author Transportation,

                                    OR, if it's easier,

Give them my email address (eileentfb@gmail.com) and have them contact me first.

If you would like me to write up a sample email for you to send out to a group of your contacts, write me back and I'll send you some language.

Thanks for your help and we look forward to hearing from you and your friends.

Eileen
